Thomas Hickey

Tom Hickey is Simply Blue Group’s Project Manager in the U.S. Prior to joining Simply Blue Group, Tom has worked as a Naval Architect on a wide variety of new design and consulting projects in the workboat industry. Most recently, he has been focused on the development and implementation of hybrid-electric and low emissions technologies for newly designed passenger/vehicle ferries to meet changing EPA and IMO standards. Tom has also worked to develop solutions for integration of these technologies into existing vessels. Tom holds a BSc in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Webb Institute.

In his spare time, Tom enjoys being outdoors as much as possible. His true passion is sailing and he volunteers much of his free time to the offshore sailing team from his alma mater. Tom also enjoys playing golf in the summer and skiing in the winter.
