Michael Behrmann

Michael Behrmann is Simply Blue Group’s Director of Government and External Affairs – East Coast US. Michael brings nearly two decades of experience in the development of clean energy resources and advocating for the clean tech sector in the Northeast US. Prior to joining the Simply Blue team Michael helped lead the economic and workforce development efforts for Attentive Energy, an offshore wind project company and recent winner of the New York Bight auction, as their Economic and Workforce Development Manager. He has also helped move forward the offshore wind industry by serving as the Director of Offshore Wind Industry Development for the New Hampshire Business Finance Authority/NH Department of Business and Economic Affairs, and as Director of Business Development for Clean Energy New Hampshire.

He is also a co-founder and partner of Revolution Energy, LLC. Michael graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Environmental Conservation, from Vermont Law School with a Masters in Environmental Law, and holds a certificate from Stanford University in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies.
