Ryan Hastings

Ryan is a GIS specialist, establishing and overseeing GIS as an operating system and applying GIS as a tool for various projects including site analysis and constraint mapping.

He provides the team with logistical support, data collection and storage along with archiving metadata. Ryan obtained a first-class honours in Outdoor Education in GMIT. He was subsequently awarded the Quercus scholarship and obtained a first-class honours in UCC in MSc in Applied Coastal and Marine Management. As a GIS researcher in MaREI he worked on the development of a pre-commercial floating wind project.
