Technical Manager – Sweden

Responsibilities

• Technical and financial optimisation for the design of floating wind projects in your respective region.
• Procurement of, and interface with, technical services to support project design and capability-building in a cost-effective manner.
• Overview of objectives, targets, milestones, and deliverables across project portfolios.
• Regular reporting of progress against goals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Implementation of appropriate client-side project management processes in support of project design and development.
• Ensure full compliance in response to all applicable regulatory requirements and standards in design specifications, including HSEQ systems.
• Ensure effective interface management and collaboration with strategic partners.
• Ensure the seamless flow of information is achieved through effective communications and orderly management of data.
• Competently assess, challenge and drive optimisation of engineering designs, technical reports, and associated deliverables.
• Input to all project areas, including but not limited to, commercial, HSEQ, finance, consenting, stakeholder engagement and lobbying as well as engineering.
• Preparation and presentation of project literature, reports, presentations, and briefing notes including the competent use of all relevant software required to professionally convey project information.
• Provide technical direction for the engineering function (resource, scope, risk, programme, and budget) and support the effective delivery of environment and commercial functions through timely delivery of interdependent project outputs.
• Lead Engineering activities throughout the life cycle of the project (concept design, pre-FEED, FEED)
• Oversight and specification of all geosciences and metocean survey specialisms.
• Provide day-to-day management of the engineering team; Work with the Country Manager and the senior management team to develop and agree the annual budget and related programme.
